About Murray Stephens

Award-winni1368040163_dad_headshot1ng swim coach Murray Stephens oversaw the North Baltimore Aquatic Club (NBAC) from 1967 until 2008. During that time, he built the team into one of the most prestigious swim training operations in the United States by attracting top coaches and renowned athletes. During his career as head coach at NBAC, Murray Stephens trained numerous Olympians, including two-time gold medalists Theresa Andrews and Beth Botsford. He also achieved recognition as a mentor and coaching partner to other well-known swim coaches, among them Bob Bowman and Paul Yetter.

Murray Stephens earned several major awards during his accomplished coaching career, including a Gold Award of Excellence and Coach of the Year accolade from the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) and a Coach of the Year recognition from the United States Olympic Committee.

Today, he owns and operates his multi-state business Stephens Global, LLC, which includes property management of recreational and commercial properties.
